Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order and delivery method selected. Pallet Force Pallet and DPD Courier costs are for accessible post codes - Up to zone 3 of our transport companies rate card. Pallet Delivery (Palletforce)
Pallet is the recommended delivery methods for bisque orders.
Bisque Direct will subsidise pallet delivery costs for orders over £300 (shown as Subtotal in the shopping cart). Additional subsidised delivery for orders over £600 and £1000 (both shown as Subtotal in the shopping cart). You will see all delivery options for your location when checking out.
Order with online payment by 11am and we will aim to have your pallet ready for dispatch the same working weekday.
Standard Pallet delivery is 2-3 days from day of dispatch. For all standard (excluding Next Day) pallet deliveries Bisque Direct will arrange delivery on a Book In basis. Pallet Force will call you to confirm the day they will deliver. This ensures customers know when the pallet delivery will be arriving. This Book In service however can delay the delivery by a day or two if your telephone is not answered.
Items sent on a pallet are insured and any damage or breakages will be credited on the next order. Please send photographs of all damaged items to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your business name. Delivery charge will not be credited unless all the items received are damaged.
Courier Delivery (DPD)
All bisque is packed securely, bubble wrapped in a cardboard box. Courier deliveries are a great way to receive small emergency orders. DPD However courier and couriers in general are not the ideal shipping method for fragile items like ceramics. Some items can not be ordered by courier due to their size and fragility. Please look for the DPD flag on the product page. Also note: courier deliveries have a 30kg limit.

DPD Courier will email and text a 1 hour delivery slot time on the day of delivery. Please ensure Bisque Direct have your current email and mobile number if you wish to receive these motifications.
Bisque Direct do not recommend sending bisque by courier but will as long as customers accept that breakages may occur. The courier companies do not guarantee safe delivery and only carry bisque items if Bisque Direct accept that breakages may occur. If breakages occur, Bisque Direct will add an Internal Credit for the value of the broken items to your account. This Internal Credit can be used against your next order. Please note Bisque Direct will not send replacement items only unless customers pay the delivery cost. Bisque Direct will not refund the cost of broken items or the delivery cost. Always ensure you order more than you need incase breakages do occur.
All delivery drop off times are 9am till 6pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and sign for your order. If you're unable to receive your order in this time window you must notify Bisque Direct via our "Enter Special Delivery Instructions" box on the checkout page where you choose the delivery service required. Timed or special deliveries will be quoted according to each individual requirement. Timed or special deliveries must be agreed in writing with Bisque Direct and additional charges paid prior to shipping your order.
Lost or damaged goods
You must inform us within 5 working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders Items cannot be back ordered. For items shown as Out Of Stock on this website you will be able to view the product and select the link to be notified when the item returns to stock.
For orders delivered within the UK, 20.0% VAT is added.
For orders delivered to other EU member states 20.0% VAT is added unless an EU VAT number is supplied.
For EU VAT registered businesses items are delivered VAT free however Bisque Direct must be supplied with a valid EU VAT number prior to issuing an invoice. This will remove VAT from the invoice.
For EU member states outside the UK we do not charge VAT however you will still need to pay VAT to your VAT collection authority. For UK businesses purchasing from other EU states the same applies. VAT is not charged by the supplier but must be paid to the UK Customs and Excise (VAT office) via EU sales and purchases boxes on your VAT return. This also applies to business on a flat rate VAT scheme.
VAT is thus an even playing field accross the EU.
